VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

The Mobile Chapter of the Public Relations Council of Alabama provides numerous opportunities for members to become involved in the organization. PROJECTS
Serve on the planning committee for the Annual Christmas Party or Silent Auction Luncheon
Assist in organizing and planning the annual professional development “ToolKit” workshop

PROGRAMS
Suggest topics and speakers for monthly meetings
Help with registration

MEMBERSHIP
Recruit new members for PRCA
Help coordinate and organize the Membership and Student Social
Serve as a liaison for new members

SCRAPBOOK/CHAPTER OF THE YEAR ENTRY
Help develop the chapter scrapbook, which is entered in the statewide competition for Chapter of the Year.

COMMUNICATIONS/NEWSLETTER
Write articles for the newsletter
Generate ideas and suggestions for the Web site

COMMUNITY SERVICE
Work on a community service project helping develop public relations materials or programs for various organizations

STUDENT AFFAIRS
Speak to student groups at area colleges and universities
Help organize the Student Social, a networking event for member and local students.

PUBLICITY
Help publicize events and activities that are taking place in PRCA
